The s.O.b: Rise and Fall Story

The s.O.b. are finally gone forever. This is the story of the rise and fall of perhaps the most destructive force in "backyard" wrestling. The notorious group infamously known as "Slaughtering’s Our Business" a.k.a. “The s.O.b” ran rampant for little over a year causing massive havoc and nearly destroying two of the top "backyard" wrestling federations. They were a dangerous menace to all who crossed their path, but finally succumb, because of their own ego. This story chronicles their entire wrestling history.

On May 22, 2002, at Champions of Wrestling’s “On the Farm” pay-per-view “Slaughtering’s Our Business” made their infamous debut. At the time, it was thought to be C.O.W.’s final show and it went out with a huge bang. The current COW World Heavyweight Champion at the time, The Truck faced the number one contender, Senor Sexxxay. The two had an exceptionally great “Two out of Three Falls” match. Had this been the final COW show, this match would have been a great one to go out on. In the end Senor Sexxxay defeated The Truck to become the new COW Champion. Right after the pin fall, two renegade Wrestling Federation of Champions superstars hit the ring. A flyer came over the television screen declaring “s.O.b for life.” The two former WFC superstars calling themselves The s.O.b were the self-proclaimed “Legendary” Chaos and Killer Kris. They brutally assaulted the COW wrestlers and officials with weapons and spread “s.O.b 4 Life” flyers all over the arena. They then stole the COW championship belt and drove off like madmen. Set out to completely destroy the COW wrestling federation, they “allegedly” melted the COW title belt and hung it on their mantel as a trophy. There has been no real evidence of such actions, only the deceitful remarks made by The s.O.b. The s.O.b continued their terror with numerous threats towards C.O.W. No one knew when or where they would strike next.

At the WFC “SlugFest” P.P.V. on May 28, 2002, just days after The s.O.b’s attack on COW, Chaos became the new WFC World Champion after defeating The Beast with Killa Kris’s intrusive assistance throughout the match. The repercussion of Chaos seizing the WFC World title sent a terrifyingly clear message to the WFC. These guys meant business and it seemed there was no stopping them. Chaos and Killa Kris unrelentingly caused mayhem in the WFC, interfering in several matches and causing all kinds of problems backstage. During an entire episode of WFC’s flagship weekly show, “WFC Monday Night Extreme,” The s.O.b caused constant interference in every match that night. This built up to the evening’s main event where they constantly interfered so much to the point that nearly the entire WFC locker-room ran out to stop them.

One memorable instance took place when they made virtually one half of the audience in attendance move away from an entire section of seating by threatening them with weapons. This was so that they could sit in the middle of the bleachers alone to watch and make fun of the wrestling going on in the ring. Another “audience participation” event occurred when The s.O.b started a fire in the stands causing everyone in the crowd to evacuate the building. These actions made the WFC officials very angry and caused them to frantically leap into action, though to no avail. Many WFC superstars including The Piranha, Thing, Havok, and John “The Bodyguard” Johnson, to name a few, tried desperately to stop them, but no one could ever succeed. The s.O.b continued their quest to destroy the WFC.

Even with their World Championship title supposedly destroyed, Champions of Wrestling miraculously recovered soon after and came back with a vengeance. Having already created a brand new COW World Heavyweight title belt and continuing to put on wrestling events, COW invited The s.O.b to COW’s “Grand Daddy of Them All,” MooMania II. On December 15, 2002, this tremendous event took place. One of COW’s top wrestlers, Whyno, challenged s.O.b member Killa Kris to a “Street Fight.” Just days before the spectacular event, The s.O.b put this message on the COW Message Board answering Whyno’s challenge:

“Ha ha ha ha. So, COW still wants a piece of The s.O.b, huh? They didn't get the crap kicked out of them enough the first time, huh? Well, Whyno, if you want The s.O.b to come kick your drunk candy-ass at Moo Mania 2, that's fine with us. You see, we know you are scared of us. If you want to face one of us at Moo Mania 2, we will be happy to mess you up real good and set an example to the rest of COW. We are unstoppable, we are the best, and we will slaughter the rest of COW if we have to do it one opponent at a time. The funny thing is, we do it all for FUN!!! lol. Killa Kris accepts your challenge for a "Street Fight: Falls Count Anywhere" match at Moo Mania 2. You wanted some, now its time for you to pay the price and be taken out by The s.O.b.”

At MooMania II, the two adversaries viciously battled it out to a point in the match where Killa Kris almost ran over Whyno with a speeding vehicle. The conclusion of the no disqualification and falls count anywhere match saw Whyno gore Killa Kris for the pin. This officially ended the invasion of C.O.W. However there were still threats and rumors going around that there may be another attack at any place and time. Threats were being made toward COW and the WFC.

Finally on January 9, 2003, it seemed as though The s.O.b would unexpectedly be ended for good. That night the WFC had another excellent and successful WFC Wrestling Extravaganza event. What seemed to be the highlight of the event was the amazing main event that put the WFC Technical Wrestling Championship, held by Magma against the WFC World Championship, which was held by The s.O.b member, Chaos. The match went back and forth as each wrestler tried to show up the other with many well executed moves and reversals. On the sidelines was the ever watching Killa Kris and partner in crime with Chaos. As the match came upon 35 minutes, Magma seemed to take advantage of Chaos.

Chaos called for Killa Kris to interfere, but Killa Kris just stood on the sidelines and watched. Magma continued his attack and went for his finisher, The Lava-Blaster. Chaos reversed it and was about to execute his devastating DDT, when Magma spun him around and hooked a modified Northern Lights Suplex on Chaos for the 1, 2, 3. Magma became the new WFC World Champion once again. The crowd went nuts as Magma walked off proudly as a double champion.

After the match, Chaos was furious and called Killa Kris into the ring. He confronted Killa Kris and screamed at him for not interfering in the match and helping him win. Killa Kris cut him off and yelled into Chaos's face and said: "I have had enough! I have had it with your manipulative ways and all your crap! All we've done is cause problems in the WFC and COW and we haven't got anywhere." Chaos was fuming as Killa Kris stepped back. "You are a menace to the WFC and I am not taking it anymore! I am NOT "Killa" Kris anymore!" Killa Kris then ripped off The s.O.b T-shirt revealing his original fan favorite colors. "I am Killer Kris, a WFC Hall of Famer. I want the respect I used to have and I want my beloved fans back! I should have never listened to you and joined this virus of a group! As far as I am concerned, The s.O.b is over!"

Chaos understood immediately and charged at Killer Kris with a swinging right fist, but Killer Kris blocked it and punched Chaos with massive rights. After a few moves in Killer Kris's favor, Chaos retreated from the wrestling area and limped off licking his wounds. Meanwhile, Killer Kris posed for the fans and celebrated his rebirth as a fan favorite once again. Killer Kris's once bad attitude and murderous acts of violence seemed to melt away and his former cool and fun loving attitude showed bright again as it once did in his glorious past.

To everyone’s surprise reports spread like wildfire that The s.O.b was not finished for good. Chaos had vowed revenge against Killer Kris, the WFC, and C.O.W. The s.O.b had become elusive, yet again. No one knew who the new members of the infamous group lead by Chaos were or when they would show themselves next. They continued to threaten the WFC and COW on their website message boards, they kept hinting at another attack, and they kept hinting that their numbers had grown vastly. An s.O.b. message on January 10, 2003 on the WFC Guestbook stated:

“The sOb may have lost the WFC World Championship and Killa Kris, but The sOb will still continue to cause pain and suffering throughout the WFC. You think The sOb is over, just because some old f*cker started feeling bad about the things he was doing to the WFC and it's fans. Killer Kris is washed up and The sOb will take care of his old back stabbing ass in due time! With his departure from The sOb, Chaos is the sole leader and he has many followers. Now the WFC and/or COW have to watch out, because ANYONE can be a sOb member and you won't even know it. They are out there right now, waiting to strike. Ask yourself this: Who can you trust...who can you REALLY trust? lol.”

The threats on the websites didn’t stop there. The s.O.b put up this webpage after hacking into the WFC Official website: Go to the sOb4ever Webpage

On March 2, 2003, the new members of “Slaughtering’s Our Business” arrived in a substantial way. With no surprise interference or hesitation, at the opening of the show Chaos lead two men to the ring. The former WFC superstars, Justin Sane and TJ “The Storm” Brooks, were declared two new s.O.b members by Chaos himself. Chaos also confirmed that there were more unseen s.O.b members hiding in the wings ready to strike at his command. Everyone in the WFC was shocked at the two new members of the evil team and at the confidence The s.O.b seemed to have. Tensions were extremely high over the early months of 2003.

Rumors increased that there were not only spies in the WFC, but in C.O.W. as well. Many claimed that CA DUDley and Cock Jizner could have been spies for The s.O.b in COW. That gossip was cleared up when Chaos said that CA DUDley was too gay to be a member and Jizner was just a big dumb cock. Sudden reports of missing documentation and stolen information ran wild in COW. The inside buzz was that Dean Malenkris was found to be an s.O.b spy. Inside sources said that Malenkris was found spying on COW for The s.O.b. He was allegedly collecting mass information and stealing secrets from then COWmissioner Political Steve’s office safe. When Malenkris was confronted by WFC officials, he denied any involvement with The s.O.b. He was put on probation by COW officials until further investigation, which didn’t find much evidence against him. Chaos himself declared that Dean Malenkris was a spy for him, but yet again there was never any evidence to support his usually deceitful statements. Many felt that he was just taking credit for Dean Malenkris supposedly being a spy and for the missing documentation. On the other hand, others felt that Dean Malenkris is a known or potential unofficial member of The s.O.b. It was never proven or disproved.

Throughout the early months of 2003, the new members of The s.O.b would not only interfere in random wrestling matches but they took great special interest in interfering in Killer Kris’s matches and causing him a lot of pain and stress. Killer Kris had a few matches with s.O.b members Justin Sane and TJ “The Storm” Brooks, but never was able to get his hands on the s.O.b leader himself. The feud lasted for a few months and then came to a final showdown. On June 19, 2003, Killer Kris and Chaos clashed for the last time. After weeks of build up, the match was set with stipulations that if Killer Kris wins, The s.O.b had to break up and would be gone forever. Earlier in the month, Chaos said that the only way he would agree to be in this match was when he wins, Killer Kris had to end his career and his illustrious career title wins would be stricken from the WFC record. Killer Kris wanted to get his hands on Chaos so badly and end the s.O.b menace that he grudgingly accepted. Either way, this match would be a major defeat for the loser.

The match was catch-as-catch-can and many hesitations and escapes by Chaos to the outside of the ring, where the two other s.O.b elements took turns interfering in the match behind the referee’s back. At the closing stages of the bout when it seemed that Justin Sane, TJ Brooks, and Chaos had caused so much damage to Killer Kris, Double K came back. He Power Bombed Chaos as Justin Sane and TJ Brooks raided the ring. Killer Kris nearly eliminated Justin Sane and TJ Brooks with massive moves and two Back Body Drops from the ring to the outside floor. That’s when WFC superstars Magma and The Piranha came running out from the back and took out Justin Sane and TJ Brooks. Left in the ring was a groggy Chaos and Killer Kris seizing his opportunity. Killer Kris grabbed Chaos then lifted him up for another Power Bomb and slammed him to the ring mat. Killer K went for the pin and the referee counted the three.

With the help of Magma and The Piranha holding off Chaos’s reinforcements, not only did Killer Kris save his career and title record, but he was the one to finally put an end to the menace which was “Slaughtering’s Our Business”, The s.O.b. It is especially ironic that one of the founders of the original s.O.b, Killer Kris would be one of the components that destroyed the evil group. Killer Kris once said, “Where there are big egos, something is bound to snap eventually.” If it weren’t for their immense egos, The s.O.b may have survived, but that wasn’t the case. Luckily, the match contract stated that if The s.O.b would ever form in anyway again that the WFC had the right to sue the heck out of anyone who joined it’s ranks. After a little over a year, The s.O.b were finally stopped and disbanded for good. This has been the story of the most infamous faction that has ever faced Wrestling Federation of Champions and Champions of Wrestling. So long s.O.b and live long WFC and COW. Live long.
